The annual Festival of Lights at the Perkinston Campus of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College is set for Friday, December 11, 4:45-9 p.m., and it promises fun for the entire family.  The event will feature a silent auction, art shows, a children’s parade, pictures with Santa, horse and buggy rides, musical entertainment, games and rides.

Children in preschool to fifth grade can join the celebration by participating in the Children’s Parade at 5:00 p.m. Participants should line up at 4:45 p.m. in the Darby Hall parking area.  Children may wear Christmas attire for the parade. They may decorate and ride in a non-gasoline powered vehicle, such as a wagon, golf cart, scooter, skates, bicycle or battery-operated vehicle, or they may march with their favorite group.
